Left warm and happy. Went for the noodle soup and ended up getting much more. It's a small place but overall good for local eats.
FOOD Bento Special with Sushi + Sashimi. It's a pretty good price! Comes with sushi and sashimi as well as 2 eggrolls, edamame, and a simple California roll. Also very tasty and high value! Combo Lunch Special (Roll + Special Roll) - We got the combo lunch special with a Salmon Roll and Roll Over. The Roll Over has yellowtail, tuna, salmon, red snapper avocado and crab. It's pretty heavy on the crab inside, but the other fish are fresh and tasty. Also a pretty fat roll. The salmon roll was fresh and tasty! VIBES My friend and I went on a Wednesday when they first opened. The place is on the smaller side but there is plenty of seating, mostly with tables of 2 or 4. There is also a small sushi bar area with limited seating. The lighting is on the dimmer side with also some lighting from the windows! SERVICE Service was great overall! They were quick to get our orders and to get food out. No complaints on service!
The bento box isn't on the weekend menu, I was told they can do it, but I'd get charged 5.00 extra, well that's fine, I wanted to try their bento box. The side salad had an unusual taste but it was delicious. The miso soup was at the perfect temperature and it tasted good. The ambiance is a cozy little sushi place, that seems to invite both the sit down customers and those that prefer take out.
Why are we always skeptical of these tiny sushi spots?! Well, lesson learned... don't judge the meal by the strip center façade! We pulled up to a completely full (and tiny) restaurant and waited just a minute for a table. The service was "Dallas fast" (IFKYK) and very polite! Our food was served quickly and it was magical! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
This is the best quality sushi in the area! Service is always attentive and the sushi literally melts in your mouth.
